Season finale a great success

So that's it for the club's events season. The club put on a great display over the show weekend, drawing a great deal of praise from the punters. We kept the whole thing simple (well simple in Kettle Club terms!) and had 6 bikes on display - one shining example of each model, which is all we needed to draw in the crowds. Saturday was definitely the busiest of days and we managed to sign up 6 new members. Sunday (though quieter) still had its moments and we collected another 3 newbies. 50 odd years on and this machine still commands a massive following! Unusually (for us at least) we didn't carry away any trophies this year, but then we didn't set out to because we're saving ourselves for next year's show and our 30th anniversary stand. Roll on next October!
