As the years go by, there appears to be a concerted effort on behalf of the organisers of these events, to do everything within their power to kill them off! Regardless of the existing financial climate, they continue to increase their prices, so when you attend these events the overriding impression that you take away, is the fact that there were fewer exhibitors and fewer traders present.

Traditionally, the Kettle club would have what we call the 'Bring/Sell/Buy/Swap meet at this event and up to this point, these have proven to be quite successful. This year however, we decided to take a different tack, considering that the promotion of the club had a greater priority and so. we decided to set up a scaled down version of our October stand within the main hall. This proved to be a wise call because, from doors open on the Saturday to doors closed on the Sunday, the stand was inundated with punters and we actually gained an extra 5 members in the process!
