Over the weekend of 17-20th July, a sweet-smelling fog descended upon the beautiful region of the Cotswolds, as the Kettle club celebrated its 30th anniversary in style at its annual ‘Blue Haze’ Rally, held at the Fire Service College (FSC), Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire, UK. Given the significance of the event, there’s no wonder that it turned out to be the largest rally held in the club’s illustrious history. Not only did we manage to smash our own Friday ride-out record, with 75 Kettles wending 100 miles or so through the 4 counties; we also managed on the Saturday, to assemble a lineup of 80 GT 750’s, which is believed to be the largest gathering of GT 750’s at a single location and thus, a world record! Needless to say, it was a spectacle that will forever, vividly remain with those who were lucky enough to have witnessed it and the sight, smell and sound of 80 Kettles riding in formation down the motorway section of the training facility, was truly something to behold and one that will probably never be repeated!

Next year, the club will be returning to the FSC on the 16 – 19 July. For all GT750 owners out there who would like to be part of this and have yet to join this renowned and respected club, you can do so by contacting the club's membership Secretary 'Skid' Brown at kettleclubtreasurer@gmail.com.
