Kettle Club Rocks Stafford Show!

It was pretty much a given that in its 30th year, the club was going to push the boat out at the big, end-of-season show and that's exactly what we did. With the Kettle being the true, 2-wheeled icon of the 70's, it seemed only natural that this would provide the underlying theme for the club stand; so lurid shirts, platforms and flares were the order of the weekend, accompanied by some bangin' 70's tunes and boy, did we attract some attention!

Other clubs could only look on with awe and envy as the crowds thronged around the stand, with punters vying to have their photo's taken with the team, like we were rock stars (which in the classic motorcycling scene, we are - sort of!). We certainly generated a lot of smiles and laughter from show visitors, and some very generous plaudits from the other exhibitors. All of our efforts paid off, as the club earned itself yet another 'Best Club Stand' award from the judges, accompanied by a much needed, £1000.00 cheque.

So what have we got planned for next year? Well you'll just have to wait and see, won't you! Boogie on man!
