Sunday 04 Sept. The club had heard good things about this show over the years and at the request of local members, we finally managed to set up a stand there. Set up took place on the Saturday and the organisers made us very welcome. We were kitted up with our event shelters, but we were directed to a spot in an indoor area with a number of other clubs, saving a whole lot of work. On show day, we were blessed with good weather, which brought out the punters in their droves and almost immediately, the stand was mobbed and it stayed that way pretty much until the end. We received a number of queries reference membership and look forward to receiving some new applications soon.
All in all - a very successful show and we've already factored the event into next year's calendar!
