For reasons only known to themselves, the organisers of the big, end of year Stafford show are going ahead with it despite government warnings against organised large gatherings whilst the country is still in the grips of the COVID pandemic. They had contacted the Kettle Club in August, enquiring as to whether the club would be supporting the event, but the Committee had already decided at the AGM that there would not be any formal representation from the club at this year's event. According to their representative, our response was in line with a good many of the larger clubs. Maybe next year eh?
