Early in March, representatives of the Club Committee were invited to pay a visit to television’s own Henry Cole, for the purposes of filming a feature on the Club and the GT750 for his popular ITV4 programme, the MotorbikeShow. Incredibly, despite the months of bad weather and continual storms suffered by the UK, the day chosen for the shoot couldn’t have been better! The filming took place at Henry’s farm estate in deepest rural Oxfordshire, which is set up with various mini-studios featured in the MotorbikeShow and others, such as Shed and Buried. Henry and his staff couldn’t have made us more welcome and the whole experience proved to be not only enjoyable, but a brilliant way in which to promote both the Club and our iconic motorcycle. The show, which will be the 3rd in the series, will be broadcast on ITV4 sometime in mid-April and the actual date will be posted here once it has been announced.
