Once again, the Kettle Club acquited itself with panache at the world's largest Classic bike show, exhibiting 7 shining examples of our iconic machines. This year's theme centred on 'Specials' of which we had 4 very diverse examples, flanked by 3 'standard machines for reference; a J and A model plus, a superb Patroller.
Saturday saw the club stand jammed with awe struck punters, who couldn't get enough of the bikes and the 'staff' were kept busy fielding no end of technical questions. Sunday, though a little quieter was still busy.
At the end of the show, the Club was awarded a 2nd in the Best Club Stand category, with 2 of the machines on display taking 1st's in their categories. The 1st prize for the club stands went to the Kawasaki triples club, celebrating their 25th anniversary in style. A well deserved congrat's to them, but watch out next year!
