The club's visit to the N I Motorcycle Fest, held at the Eikon Exhibition Centre Belfast, over the weekend of the 9th/10th February; was a resounding success. The event was mobbed from Friday through to Sunday and our stand received numerous plaudits from the enthusiastic punters. We had 7 bikes on show; 2 that we brought with us from the mainland and 5 local machines. Centre stage of course, was reserved for our now famous mechanised, sectioned engine, the envy of all other clubs. The engine never fails to draw crowds of curious onlookers and generates much discussion.
This was the first time in the Club’s history, that we have supported a show beyond these shores (as a Club event) and it would not have been possible if not for the generosity of the show’s organiser Billy Nutt, who kindly invited us and contributed considerably to our costs. The club would like to thank Billy and everyone else involved in making this happen, especially our Irish members and we're confident that this might set a trend for future events.
