A cracking weekend was had by all in attendance and the countryside rang with the sound of nearly 60 Kettles on the 2 excellent ride-outs.The Dutch contingent turned up on mass with 14 bikes and typically, set about enjoying themselves. Special thanks go to Pete Mosedale and Steve Smalley for leading us on the Friday and Saturday rides and to 'Mr Chairman' Chris Barsby, for running the much vaunted 'Chairman's Quizzes'. Congratulations too, to our revered Club President, Dave Pitcher; who was presented with the Shaun Chandler Trophy for his outstanding efforts and contributions over the years, to our award-winning club stands at Stafford.
The Staff at the Ramada Grantham, looked after us very well and we will be returning to the same venue next year. The dates are 19 - 22 July 2018. Get it in your diary and keep an eye out in future Fliers for further details. If you are thinking of going (and it's thoroughly recommended that you do) then book early, as the accommodation at the venue was in high demand this year.
