Description: 1977 Model B. I purchased the bike in 2013 from the original Owner who tells me that after demob from the military he purchased the bike brand new in his home state of New Jersey and immediately rode it to southern California to start a new life. He married a lady in the music business who liked to party. Reportedly this bike has been ridden by Dennis Hopper, Jay Leno and Don Henley [Eagles] amongst others.
I shipped her from California to Oregon and she was a non runner when I got her [crank seals shot] so I rebuilt engine including 1 over pistons and all new bearings/wear parts/perishable rubber parts/electronic ignition, plus new paint/suspension and other trick parts on the cycle
Since then she relocated to Hamburg, Germany with me for 3 years and then back to Chicago, Illinois USA, and then on to Portland, Oregon again in late 2018.
She gets ridden hard regularly and we take good care of each other. Loved the GT's all my life but never owned one before my Kettle.
