Annual General Meeting

The Kettle Club AGM 2019 and our "not to be missed" Annual Rally, will be held over the weekend commencing Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 July 2019, at Baskerville Hall, Clyro, Hay on Wye, Hereford HR3 5LE. As ever, we would like as many members with their Kettles to turn up (If you haven't got a Kettle or a bike for that matter, come anyway), perhaps not for the whole of the event but any of the days. Thursday will be a meet and greet with old friends and new ones over a pint of whatever your favourite liquid refreshment is, a 100 or so mile rideout on Friday and similar on Saturday. Think of the aroma of 60 or more two strokes all setting off at once ....... ahhhhhhhhh. Plans are on going ref entertainment over the weekend, but you can rest assured that old favourites such as Chris's Quiz, will be on tOn Friday evening we will welcome the Head of Suzuki GB Classic Marketing and Barry Sheene's mechanic who will give us a talk about what we can expect in spares available for the future and how Barrys bike was kept up to speed in his many GP races! The AGM will take place early on Saturday evening, or tea time as some of us call it! Sunday morning is show and shine with presentations, wish bon voyage to all of your mates and home! Hope to see you all there?

Just one point worthy of mention, on the rideouts, we use a "drop off" system to keep all riders as closely together as manageable and to make sure that no one gets lost avoiding the need to search for anyone or groups who may have missed a turning point and perhaps unable to get to our pre- determined destination! A FULL briefing will be given to everyone prior to the ride, explaining how the "drop off" system works and how we deal with breakdowns or mishaps. If you are not ready or late for the departure times, it is likely that the system will not work from the outset, so please be sure you have sufficient time to get fuelled and kit on!
